My first true exposure to diving was an afternoon excursion of snuba diving in the clear waters of Hawaii, but Snuba was glorified snorkeling and I wanted the freedom that Scuba would allow.   Scuba diving soon became a PASSION with such intensity that I had to share it with others.  Realizing the easiest way to allow others this same experience, I soon became an instructor.  By teaching diving I am sharing the experience and the wonders of the undersea world.  The oceans are truly the "FINAL FRONTIER" in our lifetime!  We know more about the surface of the moon than we do about the bottom of the ocean, but when was the last you were realistically given the opportunity to walk on the moon?  We here at Landshark Scuba certainly have fun, but we never let the fun over-shadow SAFETY, certifying safe divers is our focus because a safe diver is a happy diver, and a happy diver dives more,  so we all gain!

My interest in diving goes back to a small child as I watched my father surface at the lake near my grandparent’s cabin.   After snorkeling on a cruise in January of 2006, I took the discovery scuba course with my children.  This resulted in getting my open water certification through Landshark Scuba in July 2006 with my son.  A dive trip to Cozumel with Landshark provided the opportunity to get my Advanced Open Water along with several specialties.   Taking the Rescue Course with my dive buddies and friends provided a new outlook on diving and safety that pointed the way to the Dive Master course. 

There is nothing like being with someone when they experience the wonders of the underwater world for the first time.  I am blessed to have 3 generations of Divers in my family.  The experience that we have diving together enriches the rest of our lives as well.  I hope that you will take the next step and dive with us here at Landshark.

I came to Landshark looking to experience scuba diveing and to work in the dive industry.  I am a firm believer that if your work is something you are passionate about, you will never truly "work" another day in your life.  The fun and excitement of scuba diving is certainly an underlying theme here at Landshark and one that I felt from the moment I walked into the dive center.  Everyone that comes into the shop is out-going, fun-loving and adventurous,  be they divers or non-divers!  I look forward to helping you enhance your life by experiencing scuba diving, whether locally or helping you with the details of a tropical destination trip.  My goals are to become an instructor and share my passions with others.
