Join
Landshark Scuba for our annual
Crosby Mine dive trip
The
Crosby Pit Mine Trip is a new trip
for the Landshark Crew. We made the
first one in September 2009 and
trips in June and September of
2010. A Great time was had by all
that went. We had wonderful
accommodations in Brainerd MN. We
were able to do 3 awesome dives each
day including a night dive on
Saturday. This group of mines were
in use until the 1970's and then
were left to fill with water. They
are clear and full of fish as well
as items left over from their
previous life. We found a truck at
108 feet, a staircase that went from
60 to 90 feet, a 100 foot tunnel
that went from 30 to 60 feet. This
is a wonderful place to complete
your advanced open water
certification or a specialty. On
that trip we were able to do Deep
Diver, Nitrox and Night Diver. Make
plans now to Join this wonderful
trip.
