Welcome to the New Year Dive Peep’s!
I hope you all had a Happy and Safe holiday season.
I don’t know about all of you but I am so looking forward to the
New Year! It’s going to be one heck of ride here in Landshark
Land, so jump on the tour bus and hold on my Dive Peep’s let’s
take a little peak at what Landshark Scuba has going on in 2011!
We have lots to see and lot’s to do
so please pay attention, keep up, and don’t worry if you miss
something you can always check out our calendar on the web site
to keep up to date on all the happenings! Ready…,Set…,Here we
go…
On the first stop of our tour today,
please notice that during the winter months we have our
certified diver pool times open. While the weather outside is
frightful, DIVING is so delightful, so since there’s no place to
dive… Get in the pool, get in the pool, get in the pool! LOL I
crack myself up. Ok seriously now, this is a GREAT way to get in
the water and keep diving! It is also a GREAT way to meet new
dive buddies. If you’re getting ready for a dive trip and need a
tune up we can do those during our certified diver’s nights.
This is also a good time to try out any new gear you have
purchased, or test out your old gear and make sure it is ready
for the dive season!
If you look closely on the next stop
of our tour you will see, that we have lots of discover scuba
diving dates available this year, so if you have a friend who
might like to learn to dive… Share your passion with them and
turn your friend into your dive buddy!
Now on this stop of our tour you can
see we are offering our knowledge review nights every month! If
your wanting to complete a specialty course or two, or ten…J
, stop into the dive center and pick up your materials, and
Melissa will get you set up in one or knowledge review nights.
Winter time is a perfect time to work on getting all the paper
work done for all the specialty courses you want to complete.
Than come summer time you will just need to DIVE to complete the
specialty!!
Now over here on stop four of our
tour, please take a special note to what I consider the most
important part of our tour today. Most of you have heard me say
it time and time again! RESCUE DIVER is the MUST have specialty!
This course teaches you to take the focus off of just yourself
and be able to focus on the others you are diving with! Now this
is a must have course for everyone, but it is absolutely a must
for all parents diving with there kids! It’s our job to keep
them safe, above and below the surface! Because this specialty
is so very important to have you will see that every other month
there is Rescue Diver classroom and pool dives on our calendar.
On the off months we offer the EFR course that you will need in
order to complete the Rescue Diver course! You must complete
Advanced Open Water and have 20 logged dives before moving on to
the rescue course. Advanced Open Water classroom is offered on
line or you can set up time to do it at the Dive Center in a
classroom setting. Please consider doing the Rescue Diver course
today! I want my Dive Peep’s to be SAFE!!!!!!!
Ok, over here on this next stop of
our tour we have COZUMEL! February 4, to February 11, 2011
Landshark Peep’s will be diving in beautiful Cozumel Mexico! If
you are not able to join us this year…no worries we dive Cozumel
EVERY February! And hold on to your socks! If you don’t already
know, you will be so excited to hear, Landshark is offering you
a chance to win a trip to Cozumel, for our 2012 trip! Visit the

WOW, there have been a lot of stops
on this tour already… Bathroom breaks anyone? Ok than, Men to
the left and Woman to the right… (Since we always are…LOL) Again
I totally crack myself up. Ok bathroom breaks done, now on
to our next stop.
On this stop of our tour I think you
will all be as excited as I am! Landshark Scuba will again be
diving the Aquarium at the Mall of America! But the most
exciting part of this is that we will be the 1st ones
to dive the newly
remodel Aquarium! We will depart from
Landshark on Friday March 25th at 6pm and head up to
the cities, we will dive the aquarium on Saturday March 26th
and head back home on Mach 27th.

tour to day, Thank you all so much for keeping up! If anyone

Ok, now on to the most exciting part
of our tour today… Summer Time!!!
Over here on the next stop of our
tour: Starting Memorial Day Weekend, we will be doing our Open
Water Check out dives! May 28th to May 30, 2011 we
will be diving in Okoboji IA. Open water check out dives are
offered this weekend. Any of our certified divers that want to
come out and dive with us please let Melissa know that you will
be coming! For those of you who do not have your own gear please
keep in mind that this is one of our busiest weekends and we
won’t have much gear available to rent! OH BUT DO I EVER HAVE A
DEAL FOR YOU!!! Stop into the dive center and find out how you
can save $500.00 on a gear package today!

Well join me over here on this stop! Crosby Mine dives anyone?
Landshark will be diving the Crosby open air mines in Brainerd
MN June 9th to June 12, 2011! This dive offers GREAT
visibility and lots of fun diving! This is also a GREAT place to
get some of those specialty dives done! We offer DEEP diving,
PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY, NIGHT diving and NAVIGATON diving in
Crosby!
If you will just turn to the right
over here you will notice on our next stop, June 18th
and 19, 2011 we will be spearfishing in Oahe! If you are a
seasoned Spearfisher or just learning the sport, you will want
to join us for this fun and exciting mini trip! PS this is
OPENING WEEKEND!
And on this next lag of the tour
please notice, Open Water Check out dives again on the 25th
and 26th of June! These will also be held in Okoboji!
And as always our certified divers are welcome to dive with
us!!! Just give Melissa a call so she knows you will be there!!!
Boy oh Boy I can’t believe this next
stop, lands us in JULY!!! Spearfishing anyone! Once again we
will be in Oahe spearfishing July 9th and 10th.
If you missed us the first time around, you can catch us on this
second trip!
Yes, you gentleman in the back you
have a question? Ok, OK lets just make this one last stop in
July and than we can take an other restroom break… gosh didn’t
we just take one of them?... oh wait that was like 8 stops ago!
Sorry just got so excited I lost track of time!

WEEKEND AT BENNY’S! This is a great, fun and exciting weekend
trip to Dent MN, Bring the family, and your camping gear and get
ready for great diving and fun people! Check out our dive trips
page for all the details! If you can only join us for one trip
this summer, try to make sure it’s BENNY’S! July 22nd
to the 24, 2011!

Off to August we go! On this next stop, we will be in Pickstown
SD doing Open Water training dives on August 20th and
21st.

Spearfishing Safari in Oahe again. Now please notice that this
is the last Spearfishing Safari of the season! This does NOT
mean it is the last time we will go so if you have not been able
to catch us for spearfishing yet this summer and this one won’t
work out either, never fear, just give us a call and we can see
about getting something put together for you!!
Now on this stop of the tour you
will see that our summer is winding down…L
We do however still have plenty of time to get in the water and
play, so lets not waste a single moment! Landshark has left lots
of weekends open this month to help you out with any water time
you may need, if you just want time to get into the water and
play or if you need to finish up any of the specialties you may
be working on or to complete your open water dives! If you don’t
see something on the schedule give us a call and we should be
able to work it out to get you in the water!

On our next stop, drum roll please… and the winner of the
Cozumel 2012 trip is…….. You will just have to wait until
October 1st to learn the answer to that question… I
told you at the beginning this was just a sneak peak tour
J make sure you get as many
Cozumel points as you can before October 1, 2011. for all the
details on how to earn Cozumel points visit the Cozumel contest
page on the web site!
Over here you can see that Landshark
will be closed Oct. 31st to November 6th.
We will be at our trade show in Orlando Florida! We will miss
all our dive peep’s while we are gone! But when we get back we
will have all the info on the newest and best the dive industry
has to offer. So stay tuned, to be some of the first dive peep’s
in town to have all the skinny on dive industry updates!
OMG… Are we already to DECEMBER? Wow
what a trip this year is going to be.

notice that we are in the water quite a bit during the winter
months. If any of our divers want to join us in the water and
our certified divers pool times don’t work with your schedule,
